Story of ballet: Tchaikovsky composed Swan Lake in 1875, telling the story of Odette, a princess who turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse. Read more about the history of Classical Ballet.
Canvas: Our ballerina Adriana Garza Coeto’s footsteps were captured on a blue tempera base. Representing the swan, she brought feathers with her that randomly fell on the canvas.
