Vision

Salto Ergo Sum which basically translates to “I dance therefore I am” is a series of artworks, each representing a dance, made from foot & body prints of dancers, who were led by Sanaz to perform as human brushes. The viewer is confronted with abstract to detailed art pieces and ideally injected with the dynamics, colors and life quality of its originators. The magic of dance and movement deriving from the purest form of life quality is captured and immortalized in each artwork and a reminder to the viewer. Sanaz was inspired by Yves Klein & Jackson Pollock.

Salto Ergo Sum comprises dozens of canvases representing dances from all over the world and currently are case studies of the soon to be transformed artworks, and each piece was made from the footprints and body prints of different dancers. Salto Ergo Sum will provide cross media project embracing all forms of art expression such as drone shots, videography, photography, NFTs and more, that are shot from above to complement the artwork itself. The artwork is about impressions, expressions, feelings, thoughts, pleasures and sorrows gained through the art of dance. It is beneficial storytelling in the most transparent way.

We focused on different dance genres as the starting point of our project because dance is a powerful way to bring people together. It transcends cultural, social, and language barriers, allowing people of all backgrounds to connect on a deeper level. It is a way for people to express themselves, tell stories, and connect with others. Dance can also be a powerful form of physical exercise, improving strength, flexibility and coordination. It can be a great way to reduce stress and anxiety, and to improve mood and confidence. Overall, dance is an important part of life that can bring physical, mental, and emotional benefits.

One great example is Tango. Tango dancing is a beautiful, passionate, and emotional expression of art that has captivated the hearts and minds of millions of people around the world. As a Tango dance enthusiast, you know the beauty of the movement and the connection it brings to two souls. Now, think of the power and emotion of Tango captured in an artwork.

At Salto Ergo Sum, we will help you meticulously create concept of an artwork that speaks to you, one that resonates with you on a personal level and serves as a beautiful reminder of the magic of dancing Tango. From abstract pieces to photographs of the dancers in action, we will help you choose a piece that celebrates the history of Tango and furthermore captures a special moment or memory from your own Tango journey. Imagine the joy of hanging an artwork that serves as a timeless reminder of the beauty and passion of the dance and a way to share your love of Tango with others.

If you are more passionate about a different type of dance and want to experience a radiant culture, we  offer you our very own Samba do Brazil. Our artworks of vibrant, colorful pieces capture the spirit and energy of this beloved dance. The canvas is precisely crafted by professional Samba dancers making it a truly one-of-a-kind art. Want to bring a bit of Brazilian samba into your home without breaking the bank, help us help you make a statement through an artwork today.

It is no secret that music and art often go hand-in-hand. Music and art have been intertwined for centuries, from the great composers of the past such as Bach and Mozart to the modern musicians of today. For the music enthusiast, purchasing an artwork made by his favorite musician is not only a great way to show appreciation for the artist’s work, but also a way to bring a piece of the artist’s music into his home.

Kenny Garrett is one of the most famous sax players and musical genius of his time. What if you can have Kenny Garrett perform his hand technique and saxophone figure on a canvas? With every stroke of his hand, Kenny will be able to express his individually distinct sound and incorporate melodic patterns and single-note runs to create an overall dynamic and unpredictable work of art. You will also be able to use the artwork as a conversation piece when entertaining guests. Whether it is a casual get together or a formal dinner, you can share your appreciation for Kevin Garrett and educate others about his musical style by discussing the artwork with your guests. It might not be Kevin Garrett but other musicians and artists, imagine if you can have a masterpiece in the comfort of your own home that they created?

If you are interested in marine life and are looking for ways to help protect and conserve sea turtle populations, we are with you on this. Sea turtles are beautiful animals that play an important role in the ocean’s delicate ecosystem. Unfortunately, their populations have been on the decline due to a variety of factors, such as pollution, overfishing, and habitat loss. Luckily, there are ways to help protect and conserve these amazing creatures. One of our unique ways is to create artworks by having sea turtles walk on their way to the sea from the beach side on the art canvas. When you purchase this one-of-a-kind piece of art, you are helping us support organizations and individuals that are working to protect and conserve these animals. The money you invest in the artwork will help fund research, education, and conservation efforts, which are essential for the long-term survival of sea turtles. Additionally, the money you spend can help create sustainable jobs in coastal communities, which helps reduce poverty and improve the local economy.

I know it would sound unrealistic to combine boxing and painting, but Dutch boxer Bart van Polanen Petel demonstrates that mixing a brutal sport and a delicate art form is possible. He puts on his boxing gloves, dips them in paint, and throws punch after punch at a blank canvas wrapped around a punching bag until it is completely covered in chaotic color patterns. Imagine if you can have the legendary Muhammad Ali’s punches that are vividly amazing over a canvas, would you not hoard it right away?

Sports fanatics are passionate about the athletes they admire. They often follow their favorite teams and players with a deep admiration, creating a strong connection between the fan and the athlete. This connection can be further strengthened when a fan purchases artwork made by their favorite athlete. Imagine if Lionel Messi, the Argentinian football player who was named the world’s best men’s player for consecutive years, play and jog on a green canvas, where every time his feet touch the ground, a splash of color appears in their wake creating a mesmerizing pattern as he moves across. As a Messi fan, this is a great investment for you not just because you are supporting your favorite athlete but also because this type of artwork becomes sought-after and valuable over time. For these reasons, would you be willing to support your favorite team or athlete and invest in valuable pieces of artwork?

NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are unique digital assets that are revolutionizing the way we buy and sell goods and services. As a geek, you know how valuable and powerful these new technologies can be. But did you know that you can use your passion for NFTs to help make a difference in the world? We are quickly turning our artworks to NFTs as a way to generate funds and support our project. By purchasing an NFT, you can directly support our cause and make a positive impact on the lives of the underprivileged. Soon, we will be launching an art auction to auction off our digital artworks and this is a great way for you to support while also investing in a unique piece of art.

All these activities may seem odd to be put together with art, but not with us. We believe in what Albert Einstein said in one his interviews when asked about the Theory of Relativity, “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” At Salto Ergo Sum, we offer a series of artworks each representing a dance, a movement, an action, or an activity made from footprints and body prints. Artwork owners can choose an artwork fitting at best into their interior design or location of choice and can be customized at an affordable tax-deductible price. What is your Ergo Sum and how can we help? If you can imagine, we can make it happen.

Welcome to Salto Ergo Sum, where extraordinary events happen on a canvas, and what’s more exciting is you can have the artwork right in the palm of your hand.

Salto Ergo Sum is a non-profit organization and a beneficial art project in one. We provide cross-media attachments such as photography and videos, that are shot from above to complement the artwork itself. The artwork should remind the viewer of the essential values in life through the magic of dance and movement. The work serves as a record and signature of the dancer and could be said to represent a convergence of two art forms – painting and dance or any other movement such as sports. This project seeks inspiration from the less fortunate people who have a different pleasure in life that we, as a society, often miss.

Through this purpose-based project, we want to raise awareness of life’s essential values and create a    change in the world through the magic of dance and movement. The proceeds of the artworks are dedicated to helping the less privileged in different parts of the world. Everybody has to start somewhere so we partnered up with Wings of Change, a non-profit organization and vocational hotel school in Madagascar. Sanaz has already been teaching Computer Science virtually to Wings of Change students for almost 3 years now and seeing the need of having more laptops available to learn and practice with in class, she has decided that Salto Ergo Sum will help pave the way for the students.

Sanaz connected with Labdoo.org, a global collaborative project aiming to make education accessible to every child on the planet by repurposing computer devices, and arranged an educational plan of granting 60 laptops to the students of Wings of Change. She was able to raise funds to transport the laptops from Germany to Madagascar through her birthday fundraising events, and some of the devices will be brought personally when she travels to the school in August 2023. As transparent as we are, we are confident even if Labdoo’s laptops can be tracked real time through their GPS capability and its location monitored over a period of time.

The plan to go to Madagascar will open up doors of opportunities for the students of Wings of Change as they will be part of a magical journey of creating one of the best artworks of all time. Using their cultural dance and natural talents, the students will be dancing on a canvas barefoot, with big smiles, colorful cultural costumes, and face paints. The real magic happens when the students start dancing on the canvas and reveal a work of art at the end that is unique, original, full of life, and momentous. The artwork then will be sold to galleries and art enthusiasts and proceeds go back to the school to support students’ educations for years to come.

Wings of Change is the pioneer program to benefit from Salto Ergo Sum, but we are not limited to one  organization or to one location. We also plan to collaborate with art therapists to provide street children not only with funds but also with guided help during the dance. We are one with United Noses, an international art and joy movement, that stands under the premise that we all have the right to be happy. The organization provides workshops to help people connect quickly with their most joyful part, to better interact with each other and bring this positive attitude to their day to day. Through United Noses, we aim to have a 360° positive impact in the lives of the underprivileged students whom we intend to help.

We want to help the underprivileged as much as we can in different forms, from providing basic necessities to aiding in their emotional and psychological health before the dance project. These measures are essential as they help to ensure that students or the children have the best chance of succeeding in life and reaching their full potential.

Furthermore, Salto Ergo Sum also strives to support SU4E’s Stand Up 4 Elephants movement. Since 2014, Stand Up 4 Elephants has been bringing a progressive and ethically responsible approach regarding improving the conditions of the captive elephants in Nepal. A primary mission of Stand Up 4 Elephants is to raise public awareness of ecological and sustainable approaches to animal welfare, conservation and ecologically responsible travel practices. Through our artworks and the fund we garnered, we want to support the cause and to advocate for the end of elephant captivity in Nepal. We want to advocate for the creation of sanctuaries, which are areas where elephants can roam free and not be confined in cages. We want to use our voices for animals who can’t use theirs, like elephants.

We aim for a global movement, a change in the entire planet by starting to act on our own communities and cities. We think globally and act locally. We are not waiting for grand breakthroughs to “fix the world,” we want to implement conscious solutions into everyday decisions and actions and be the change that we are seeking.

Education is the entry point of this world-changing cause, but we are just starting. There are tons of causes to support and as a community of change-makers, we want to be part of the solution. We want our small actions to turn into big actions and result in a big impact, we want to snowball our passion so others will also be inspired to turn their resources to goodness.

We are change-makers, but our resources are quite limited. Your help and support are needed to amplify and fuel our cause. The transparency of this project will be brought to you in every step of the way and satisfy you with a feeling of making someone’s day every day.

We know that funds are the icing on the cake, but the real deal is being able to visit places and raise awareness, unite cultures, and talk about ideas that are reserved for brilliant people. We believe and hold on to this vision that is transformable, a living being, a movement, an action word, and contains a huge potential.

PROJECT

Salto Ergo Sum is a series of artworks, each representing a dance, made from foot & body prints of dancers, who were lead by Sanaz to perform as human brushes. The viewer is confronted with abstract to detailed art pieces and ideally injected with the dynamics, colors and life quality of its originators. Sanaz was inspired by Yves Klein & Jackson Pollock.

“Salto Ergo Sum” is a series of canvases that represents all dances in the world.

Each piece was made from the footprints and body prints of different dancers. The artwork is about my impressions, expressions, feelings, thoughts, pleasures and sorrows gained through the art of dance.

Life quality and love of life are among the most important things in my world and this artwork is all about sharing and infecting people with that passion. Fundamentally, the inspiration for this project comes from the negative perception of society, which comprises materialistic, timeless, joyless and unsatisfied people.

I see this society as being monotone and wanted to inject some colour and life into it with my work. The artwork should remind the viewer of the essential values in life through the magic of dance and movement. The work serves as a record and signature of the dancer and could be said to represent a convergence of two art forms, painting and dance.

VISION

SALTO ERGO SUM – is a non profit organization and a unique art project in one. This project seeks its inspiration by the negative perception of society, which involves materialistic, timeless, joyless and unsatisfied people. The poor in this world often have a pleasure of life which our monotone society misses.

With this project and through my work I want to help the poor with the proceeds of the artworks and at the same time inject our society with some colour and life. The artwork should remind the viewer of the essential values in life through the magic of dance and movement. Through the diversity of dances & cultures in the world, more than just a few artworks will be produced through which each artwork owner will be capable of helping himself remember what is important in life. The final goal however is to help particular poor villages somewhere in the world, where the help is needed most.

Salto ergo sum will provide cross-medial attachments such as photography and videos, that are shot from above to complement the artwork itself. It is beneficial storytelling in the best possible transparent way. We collaborate with art therapists to provide those street-children not only with help afterwords but also with guided help during the dance. But also artwork owners can choose an artwork fitting at best into their interior design or location of choice. Its CUSTOMIZED ART AT AN AFFORDABLE TAX DEDUCTIBLE PRICE.

THE IDEA IS UNIQUE because it provides balance, with a happy outcome for both sides. Poor and rich can help each other out. An exchange of different forms of life quality and a new innovative form of donation.

AND UNFORGETTABLE TOO …

Sharing the same vision of transforming the world, one person at a time? Let’s make a difference
